Hello, all--Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! Here is an update on some recent activity in Computer Lab.
3rd graders have begun typing their research papers using Microsoft Word. I expect they will need another time or two to complete this project.
4th graders collected data in their classes about some favorite Thanksgiving foods and used it to make a bar chart in Microsoft Excel.
2nd graders used a Smartboard activity and Spelling City to practice alphabetical order. They also used Microsoft Word to make a Happy Thanksgiving document that included text and pictures.
1st graders built a variety of communities on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. They have also practiced naming 2D and 3D shapes by clicking and by dragging and dropping.
Kindergarteners also enjoyed building communities on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood--especially resizing the objects! They are also continuing to enjoy and learn kindergarten skills using their ABC Mouse account.
