Fourth graders finished up their digital citizenship unit. They then used Tux Paint to write and illustrate a Thanksgiving "Would you rather.." question. Quite a few would choose to take a bath in gravy! Come by the computer hallway to see their work when you come to the music program! This week we will investigate the country of origin of our last names and use a computer sticky note to put it on a map.
Third grade recently learned about personification and used it in a Thanksgiving poem generator. They then cut and pasted their poems into a Word document where they inserted a picture to go with it.
Second grade also created a Thanksgiving document and learned to use Word Art and text boxes along with their prior knowledge of inserting pictures.
First grade used their knowledge about bats to complete an animal study. We got to x-ray a bat online and see how it has fingers and thumbs in it's wing membranes!
Kindergarten has been using Keyboarding Zoo to find and type all their letters on the keyboard. They wear a purple and a blue wristband to help them remember to use both hands. They are also enjoying making progress on their ABC Mouse accounts.
